The host of this program is Chris Rosebourgh and I will admit, it does take time to get used to him but what I have found is , that he is very solid , when it come to rightly understanding law and gospel.
I am including this link for those who think there might be something to this Law/Gospel thing, but are not sure what it is.
I can guarantee you that if you listen to this entire podcast , it will go a long ,long way in understanding what has been taking place for a long time in many of our church's.
This podcast is long. Its 2 hours and 45 minutes long. Yes, that's long.
The first hour and 34 minutes is the best explanation ( of law and Gospel) one will find anywhere.
Then , at the 1:34 :00 point of the podcast , this program allows us to listen to a sermon.
This sermon is a typical sermon preached Sunday after Sunday , in many church's across this country.
Trying to explain the confusion between law and gospel is hard, but , when a person can hear with their very own ears , from language they have been subjected to for decades, this is truly eye opening.
If a person can set aside, just for a moment, the idea that if someone critiques another mans words , that this is somehow offensive or overly critical...
if they can set that aside and focus on the content of what's being preached and what's being said in response to that preaching , that might help them in finding a clearer understanding of what is being presented here.
The point to all this is to encourage others , to pay closer attention to what they read , watch , and listen too. Take note of how things are said and where the emphasis is most often placed and ask yourself "is this the correct way to say this?"
Before clicking on this link...Pray! Ask God for wisdom. You are not reading this post by accident.
I know how hard it is, questioning things I once trusted.
Here's the podcast :

The link that's above was done maybe a year or two ago. The link I'm about to add was recently done
The link above is somewhat complicated in the beginning and the example (in 2nd half) is more subtle in its deception but this link I'm about to add also has side by side teaching of the same passage. One teaching mis handles the passage and the other teaches it correctly.
The deception that's seen in the first half of link /podcast is as clear as a bell. If anyone listens to this entire episode they will understand why I'm including it.
I learn a lot from comparing things and this episode does just that. Learning how to recognize manipulating speech helps in so many areas. We soon recognize it in the media as well as in Hollywood and even in print or lyrics.
Please pray before listening.
